This site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. Your language choice is remembered in your browser only.
The Windows application
StageForge processes your audio on your computer only; no audio ever leaves it. To activate and renew your licence the application sends to our license server: the license key, an anonymous computer identifier (a one-way hash), the computer name, the Windows user name and the e-mail you enter. We use this only to manage your licence (for example, to show you which computers use it and to let you free a seat). It is not sold or shared.
Payments (Windows)
Payments for the Windows subscription are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never see your card details. Lemon Squeezy shares with us your name, e-mail, country and the status of your subscription so we can provide your licence. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy for how they process your data.
The Android edition (Google Play)
The Android edition asks for permission to use the microphone so it can hear your guitar, including through a USB audio interface. Your audio is processed on the device and is never uploaded; a recording leaves your device only when you share it yourself. The Android edition does not contact our license server and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
StageForge Pro subscriptions on Android are sold, billed and managed by Google Play under Google's own terms and privacy policy. We never see your payment details. The app only asks Google Play Billing whether a StageForge Pro subscription is active and remembers the answer on your device, so Pro keeps working offline for up to 7 days. Like every Google Play developer, we receive Google's sales reports for our app (for example, the country of each purchase and the status of each subscription).
Your rights
When you write to us through the contact form on this site or by e-mail, we receive your name, your e-mail address, your message and the country your connection comes from, and use them only to answer you. The form is delivered through our license server and Cloudflare; nothing else on this site sends data anywhere.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the data linked to your licence at any time by writing to support@forgestage.app.
