End User License Agreement

- Licence. Forge Tools ("we") grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use StageForge ("the Software") on up to two (2) Windows computers you own or control, while your subscription is active or during a free trial. The Android edition is covered by clause 4.
- Subscription. The Windows subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Payments are processed by our reseller Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), the merchant of record, under its own terms. You can cancel at any time; the Software keeps working until the end of the period already paid.
- Activation. On Windows, the Software contacts our license server to activate and to renew its licence periodically. It sends the license key, an anonymous computer identifier (a hash), the computer name, the Windows user name and the e-mail you provide. It works offline for up to 14 days between renewals.
- Android edition. On Android the Software is distributed through Google Play and can be used free of charge with a limited set of features. The StageForge Pro subscription, which unlocks the rest, is sold, billed, renewed and cancelled through Google Play under Google's terms, may start with a free trial for new subscribers, and can be used on your Android devices that use the Google account it was bought with. On Android the Software checks the subscription with Google Play instead of our license server. Windows and Android subscriptions are separate purchases.
- Restrictions. You may not copy (except for backup), resell, rent, reverse engineer, decompile or circumvent the licensing of the Software, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Your content. Presets, recordings and other material you create with the Software belong to you.
- Updates. Updates released during an active subscription are included.
- No warranty. The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
- Termination. This licence ends if you breach it or when your subscription and grace period end; the Software then runs in demo mode (on Android, it returns to the free features).
- Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
Third-party components included in StageForge are licensed under their own terms (MIT, MPL-2.0, SIL Open Font License); see the notices shipped with the application.
